One of the hardest tasks on Factland is finding good evidence that helps a jury come to a conclusive decision.
Indicators of good evidence
- Primary document or source
- Directly addresses the claim
- Reveals new information not contained in other evidence
- Is material to determining the veracity of the claim
Examples of bad evidence
- Rumors and hearsay
- Links to unknown sources
- Orthogonal to what's being claimed
